Candidates rarely fail these exams because their French is too weak. They fail because they have never written a production écrite under time pressure, never structured an argument the way the marking grid expects, or never practised the oral in exam conditions.
We work on both at once: the French itself, and the exam as an exercise with its own rules. You sit timed mock papers, you get them back annotated against the official criteria, and you walk into the exam already knowing what the room feels like.
